Freeman Academy is seeking a new Head of School to begin in summer of 2022. We are in search of candidates interested in providing educational and spiritual leadership for our K-12 Mennonite school and daycare program located in Freeman, SD, with a strong fine arts tradition and rich history of serving the church and community.

This individual will be a person of committed Christian faith with a passion for excellence in education. Experience with Christian education and Anabaptist theology is desired. Freeman Academy provides faith-based learning for life, raising up not only graduates, but future leaders. Applicants will require skills in implementing vision, in developing faculty and staff, in supporting project-based learning across all grade levels, and in building and maintaining strong relationships within the school, the community, and our partners in Mennonite Education. Applicants should have a master’s degree in educational administration and possess or be qualified to obtain administrative certification from the South Dakota Department of Education.

Little Blessings, a new licensed daycare is seeking both full time and part time applications for Daycare workers. Previous experience working in a child care setting is preferred.

Do you have a heart for mentoring students along with strong organizational skills?  

Freeman Academy is looking for a Resident Director to supervise and encourage 12 boarding students in on-campus housing beginning fall 2022.

Salary plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement, room and board. 

Main responsibilities are building relationships with students and overseeing daily life at the dorm, including cooking the evening meal, coordinating student activities, and communicating with parents.
